 Originally started in a young man's bedroom in 1999 under the name 'WebAV', Inception Design has seen tremendous growth over the past six years beyond the dreams of that young man. Then the business resided in the town of Newberry, FL (then population ~ 3000). After undergoing a name change in July of 2001 to the current name, Inception Design got off to a slow start, designing websites for budgets not ever a quarter of the size of most projects we handle now. During it's first year, Inception saw only about one new client every six months. Currently, we average between two to four new web designs per month.  With exponential growth like that, the company's founder, Eric May saw the need to expand the business. After seeing a sales increase greater then 1200% in the the first two years, the company needed to move to both meet the growing needs of the clients and the growing needs of the company. The business moved to it's present home in High Springs, FL, the home to many of the company's current clients.  High Springs is centrally located in North-Central Florida, an area that the dot-com burst overlooked. About a 20 minute drive to Gainesville, the area provides a very stable means for digital design work. High Springs is also home to more than 27 churches, which is only 57 house-holds per church according to 2000 census data. This makes High Springs a prime target for Inception's church-specific marketing strategies that target churches of all kinds. It also provides the perfect base for operations for a tech company to escape the hassle of the big city while alowing it to plug into the growth of the Gainesville Metro Area.  Begninng in 2006, Inception began venturing into other areas of multimedia and delivery, not just the website. Starting with video, the Inception crew started making themselves available for on-location filming for their existing clients. After successful feedback, we launched into video-post production, including montages, photo-shows, DVD authoring and production, and complete editing and post services. With success under the belt, the company then decided to meet yet another need of their clients: audio/video/lighting. Ranging from live events to installations, Inception has started its venture into the live production business with excellent results thus far.  Needless to say the past six years have been full of work and fun alike and a lot of growing along the way. As the Gainesville Area grows, so will Inception Design's portfolio and clientele-base.
